Lund is a small unincorporated village located in the Escalante Valley of northwestern Iron County, Utah, United States, about 35 miles northwest of Cedar City. The town, established in the early twentieth century, was a station stop on the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad (later Union Pacific Rai Utah Frequently Requested Maps. The BLM manages nearly 22.9 million acres of public lands in Utah, representing about 42 percent of the state. Ollie Norris had a homestead at Thermo, Utah from June 1913 until entering the service in 1918. The old original Holyoak Store in Lund, Utah still stands today, much like it was in the early 1900's. There are still a few people living in the old town although most of the original buildings are now gone.
