NDIS for HSD, EDS and Dysautonomia has 1,593 members. Fighting for recognition of Ehlers Danlos Syndromes (EDs)and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTs) under the Australian National Disability Insurence Scheme (NDIS).

There are many variants of EDS yet the most common variants are hypermobile EDS (formerly type III) and classical EDS (formerly types I and II). EDS, especially the hypermobile type, appears to be common in patients with autonomic dysfunction.
